." tonight the obama administration official in charge of the disastrous health care overhaul was finally dragged in front of lawmakers today. health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius testified before a house committee. she dodged questions, made up facts and continueses to be dishonest with the american people. in a moment we'll have people who participated in the grilling but first the highlights. >> madam secretary, while you are from kansas, we are not in kansas anymore. >> let me say directly to these americans you deserve better. >> here we are five weeks into enrollment and the news gets worse by the day. >> the president said if you like your health care plan, you can keep it. is he keeping his promise? >> yes, he is. >> my insurance policy was cancelled. the white house website says if you like your health plan you have, you can keep it. did i hear it wrong? >> i am as frustrated and angry as anyone with the flawed launch of health care.gov. >> i think it's great that you are a team player taking responsibility it is the president's ultimate responsibility, correct?

in the bio science. >> will obama care help or hinder that development. does it get in the way or does it mean more access will drive better outcomes? >> i think the issue you are talking about obama care is focused on care and treatment. the largest part. if we are going to solve the problem, it really isn't care and treatment. the issue is really prevention, wellness, research cure. >> there are more and more people talking about this on wall street. the lines between a company like apple and some of the names that you are talking about in this conference are blurring, because, frankly, wearable technology and personalized medicine sounds like the next big wave. what's going to be the next facebook or twitter for this space? >> i don't know that i can make that prediction but there is a very rapid evolution naary proc going on here. what we need is a healthy ecosystem, that involves phrma and biotech and special device companies and computational companies that are dealing with big data. also, academic institutions which tend to be where the basic science gets done that undergirds al
reports say members of the obama administration knew some americans could not keep their current health care plan as president obama promised repeatedly. rich edson live from capitol hill with the latest. >> the primary question was how many folks have successfully gotten to the application process on healthcare.gov and then rolled in health insurance. they consulted with health and human services, a white house and they decided they are not going to release any of those figures until mid november. there was also the question in the president's statement from when the health care goes to legislative process saying if you like your health insurance plan you could keep your plan. there were questions today whether or not the administration has kept the promise. >> i am aware there are issuers in state who are canceling their own plans at grandfathered in and going with new plans. >> concerned about keeping your health care plan isn't true? >> they could keep it. >> they can't keep it. they just got cancellation notices. the president says you can't keep it. why you saying you can? i don't
